Christensen. Their first book was: Make Your First Million in Network Marketing.
This year, they published Be a Recruiting Superstar.
Provides inspiration and practical advice for new and experienced representatives to achieve success. While the description of comp plans doesn't apply so much to our company, many of the ideas and steps Mary discusses DO APPLY!
This short book serves as a guide for success.
I loved chapter 7 on "Work the Hours" - tips on setting time for your business and using that time well; chapter 10 "Sell, Don't Tell" on listening to your customer, learning how what you have will make their life easier/better, etc. and Chapter 11, "Radiate Positive Energy" on the 'hats' you put on every day to attract people to you and create an aura of warmth, happiness, calmness and success.

Wow! I can't believe it's almost the end of summer here in North America. And yes, it has been awhile since you have seen this format news from me. It is my goal to bring you resources and ideas, news and more to help you in making a difference for all the people you help and for our environment!

I must apologize for the recent Autoresponders that went out to many of you. There are now 10 e-mails for new representatives called the Helpful Hints Getting Started series. This service was inactive for several months, due to a technical issue at icontact. Many of you have been reps on our team for some time, but never received the e-mails. I updated and re-activated them, which led to the deluge of mail.
It was not supposed to work that way... but it did. So, I am truly sorry...my hope is that you will simply create a folder - 'Helpful Hints Getting Started Training' - to keep these for reference and to look at when you have a few minutes. They do contain a wealth of information for you!
Note: Due to concerns of privacy, I will no longer recognize new members by name and location. We will continue to recognize Promotions, so keep me posted if you or someone on your team achieves a milestone in the marketing plan!

Now that the company is publishing news every two weeks, I will keep this section brief. Please carefully review your ONE Group Newsletters to stay up-to-date on products, new tools and all company information. THANKS!
* New tools and marketing materials were launched at the annual Australian ONE Group Conference. A brief description of these may be found below under the "How to Achieve Your Dreams" section.
* New Travel Sizes of products are available and show up in the shopping cart under each category and under 'packs'. These make wonderful 'trial' packs, like the skin care 3-pack. All Travel Sizes meet international travel requirements as the traveler puts them in 1 clear quart-size bag. These new items are a great reason to contact your customers -- let them know what's new! Maybe they want to try the skin care but not sure which profile works best? Have them order one or two of the travel size packs to get a good 3-4 weeks+ from each, to see how they like the products and which one they prefer!
* Tropicana Body Milk is available again AND a new travel size/trial size is here!! Get them while they're hot.
* Sticker on JAS/BFA certification on In-Liven:
The Japanese government has made some changes to its JAS certification. The JAS no longer considers spirulina as 'farmed' or agriculturally grown even if it is; therefore, they no longer count it in the organic content because for them, it is not considered an agriculturally-grown ingredient. The ACO (Australian Certified Organic) certification is still in force and the product still complies with organic certification by ACO. Thanks to Representative Kimberly Walker in Texas for investigating this change!
MiSpa Party Updates:
* Several conference calls with Leonie Featherstone have been recorded and posted in member's area under Training. You may listen from your computer or download to an mp3 player. These are filled with great inspiration and practical information for anyone considering the MiSpa system or their own creative variation of this strategy.
This system is quickly becoming a strategy-of-choice for many representatives and promises to be a very positive and fruitful way to build your customer base and your business. Be sure to study the guides and information in the MiSpa section, get the training DVD and manual and attend the live MiSpa Training Calls with Leonie Featherstone.

Credit Card Authorization Forms.
To continue to receive your preferred rep discount for being on BP or Autoship, you must have your CCAF in to headquarters. This is Australian law. The form may be faxed or sent regular mail or scanned in and sent via e-mail. I recommend choosing BP, getting the form in to ONE Group and then placing your order manually by the evening of the 23rd of the month, so you don't need to think about your default order! It's an easy task -- ask your sponsor or me for details!

Dear ONEderful team,
On behalf of every one of you on the team, I was honored to participate in the 3rd Annual ONE Group Conference held on the Gold Coast of Australia. As part of an Executive Panel on building an international business, I focused on how many of us find ONE Group on our quest for truly pure products, whether for prevention of possible problems later on, to alleviate sensitivities or health challenges now...to do more to protect the environment, the waters, wildlife and eco-systems...how we are all united in our mission yet have the flexibility to develop and share as we want, in step with our lives, goals and dreams as well as the needs of our families or loved ones.
I learned so much from all the speakers -- many are Representatives just like us -- putting creativity, purpose, organization and motivation into their daily or weekly actions. By planting seeds and nurturing them to grow, Aussie moms are balancing family with the business successfully. By using leverage and personal development, women and men are pushing through their own barriers to lift more people up through an organic lifestyle and creating real wealth in the process. It was inspiring because it made me realize we (everyone who wants to) CAN do this organic business and do it well.
The Executive meeting with Directors on Monday could have gone all day! We were at least 40 in the room, maybe more, bringing ideas and inspiration to the agenda, while listening to the directors as they highlighted plans for growth in the coming year (and years).
Since returning, we have had one conference call so far, where I shared my impressions of the conference, the ONE Group staff and the offices and manufacturing facilities of the company during our tour. I also highlighted Dr. Karen Coates talk on oxidative stress and the body's use of anti-oxidants. On future calls, I am going to give specific information gleaned from the session on Balancing Family Life with Your ONE Group Business AND the session on the MiSpa Party system. Both were filled with great ideas!
