UPDATES (May 2010): Only PCs and Reps who opted in to receive communication from ONE Group are receiving MiTime (specials) and Miessence Business News and e-mail blasts. Please be sure to ask your customers and representatives if they have checked off to receive correspondence and if not, and they want to do so, email support to get them on-board (they may need to also email to request their subscription).
Also, two new email campaigns with e-certificates will be starting shortly. Only those who opted in will receive these -- "We Miss You" campaign will offer a coupon code for anyone who has not ordered in 90 days. There will be a few follow-up emails if they do not use their coupon. The "Anniversary" e-certificate coupon will be sent to PCs and Reps on the anniversary of their first order with the company. If they don't use it in a timely manner, a few follow-up emails will go out.

The newest promotion -- Organic Lifestyle Challenge -- will feature monthly promotions and a four-month promotion from June through September 2010 (East Coast Australian start and end time). Special Webinars with guest speakers will be scheduled to 'kick-off' each month. Watch for details from corporate! We will have two calls in June and then in lieu of regularly scheduled team calls in July and August, we will be available for one-on-one and small group sessions to work more closely with you in taking advantage of these promotions or your other initiatives and strategies.

Retail Program Updates -- Please read, esp. if you are in Canada!
With the new Retail Program, representatives in the US and Canada can add on to their business strategy or strategies by sponsoring and supporting qualifying Retail Outlets (both physical and online establishments - must have own shopping cart for online stores). I received new information from headquarters that now allows Canadian reps to become qualified to sponsor retailers -- for all stores physically located in Canada, there is a policy statement that all retailers must meet at this time. If this strategy interests you, please be in touch so I can explain it further.
BIG NEWS for the Retail Program (May 2010):
-- retailers in all open countries now have the option of a 30-day account after their first order, provided that their application is approved. The order payment will be due by the end of the month following the order. Orders will need to be faxed in for the time being to take advantage of this account status. You'll want to offer this as an added customer service to your sponsored retailers.
-- retailers will be able to opt for Platinum Status and Certified Status and receive some free samples for staff as well as training and in-store promotions by the sponsoring representative [open in Australia, soon New Zealand and later this year in the U.S.].
-- Platinum retailers will be eligible for free testers on stocked items and a display center for miessence!

Have you taken the Retail Training Quiz yet?
All reps must be at Senior Associate or above, in select countries, or for online stores outside your country, if it's not open to retail yet. You'll need to get all the details FIRST because you may not approach any retail outlet before you are approved and the outlet has been allocated to you. There are monthly live webinars and recorded webinars for your training. A very important policies and procedures document is posted in Member's Area. Please discuss this new strategy with your sponsor and upline executive for more details.
Once you are ready, you can request a Retail Quiz from support at: retail@miessence.com or support@miessence.com. You must achieve 100% so if you get one wrong, it's 94% and then you simply request a new quiz and try again. "Miessence Organic Showcase" - Need your help! on Team Exclusive Powerpoint Presentation
**If you can send me one or two 'quick facts' to be added to the talking points and/or Powerpoint, I would appreciate it. I need info that can be backed up with references if at all possible. Just quick and easy facts - i.e. how much CO2 is sequestered with organic farming, how many (and what kind of) chemicals are found in babies at birth, one easy way to make and show use of essential oil (1-2 oils, 3 max), etc.
I am working on this interactive presentation for the team. It will be an easy-to-follow way to present the products, company and options for purchasing and/or earning income from a home base. The idea is something interactive where people can briefly feel, smell, taste, touch and try on products and find out why organic is better for people and the planet. Easy, duplicable and customizable. Will keep you posted as soon as the first draft is available.

New Toxic Ingredient Directory in PDF!
Your questions on Berry Radical answered:
-- What is the new ORAC value for the new BR?
Corporate has informed me that they are re-testing the new Berry Radical formula with Brunswick Labs. In addition, the serving size was reduced from 5 grams to 3.5 grams, so that may bring the number lower by virtue of the 'amount' in the portion. Currently, the company is saying one 3.5 gram serving of BR provides more than 5,000 ORAC units. Once they have the test results in, they will let us know!
-- What happened to the insert?
Since there is no longer a box of sachets, there will no longer be any information sent with the product. The company is following the same protocol as with In-Liven, which is in a similar jar. The challenge here is that most customers or reps don't really need anything after their first purchase -- so it is up to us to educate and share information about BR to our circles of influence, whether in print or online and direct them to the special website and/or send a link to the Fact Sheet (**see next question for more info on this). Once someone has made the buying decision, either we know about it and may have already provided information and answers; or, we can go into the genealogy area and see what they ordered -- and then send them some information to give them more details and of course, thank them for their purchase of certified organics!
-- When will the Special Website and other documents be updated?
Update: Customer service has updated the Special Website information at: www.yourusername.berryradical.com and posted a new Powerpoint in the Members Area under Training. They are still working on the Fact Sheet. There is also discussion of including more details (and/or multi-media such as audio or video) about the product on the main website page. Stay tuned...
-- What is the new price and PV value?
As most of you have already seen, the new BR is retailing at $62.85 USD/$69.00 CAD, a savings of over $27 from the former version. The PV has also been reduced relative to the price reduction to 42 PV.
** Have you seen the awesome videos? We have a 6 minute video on the 6 exquisite botanical perfumes. It's on your website if you click on the botanical perfumes icon from the homepage. The URL is: www.fabulousorganics.mionegroup.com/perfumes. Simply replace your username with mine... Great to send people in an e-mail! Each perfume page also shows the shorter video for that specific perfume.
** Have you seen Narelle's great 'How-To' videos? She goes through each step of the Miessence Organic Facial and the 3-basic product steps. There is one showing us how to massage the face using the Rejuvenessence Facial Serum. How amazing! I tried it and that was a real treat. I felt oxygenated and energized yet balanced and relaxed. Credit Card Authorization Forms (CCAF).
To continue to receive your preferred rep discount for being on BP or Autoship, you must have your CCAF in to headquarters. This is Australian law. The form may be faxed, sent regular mail or scanned in and sent via e-mail. I recommend choosing BP, getting the form in to ONE Group and then placing your order manually by the evening of the 23rd of the month, so you don't need to think about your default order! It's an easy task -- ask your sponsor or me for details!

Dear ONEderful team,
I've been following the 2010 Get2Exec Webinar Series to better assist each of you while keeping myself up-to-date on company initiatives. Founder and formulator of products (and general 'green beauty queen') Narelle Chenery gave a presentation on the Module 2 Webinar in April. She focused on the NEED TO KNOW info. -- the unique qualities of miessence product range. Hope this is helpful to you when you are sharing the lovely formulas, whether with a family member, friend, expo or mispa attendee, prospective retailer or representative. Be sure to check the Event listings for upcoming live webinars and the Members' Area for recorded calls and webinars!
Miessence - unrivaled purity, potency and freshness. That is the new tagline for ONE Group and the Miessence range. [By the way, the newest update is to write Miessence with a capital M in text and only use lower case m when seen in logos/branding.] Narelle said the Miessence range is THE PIONEER in certified organic skincare. "It was and always will be the world's first certified organic range to food-based standards, completed in January 2001." The company was started on the Gold Coast of Australia, by a mother of three young children, making small batches by hand in her kitchen, when she couldn't find any products without toxic ingredients for her and her family.
There are now over 150 unique items with more on the way; it's a HUGE range! Products are meant for internal and external well-being with household and aromatherapy for home well-being. Her intention when creating the Miessence range was "to provide pure, potent, clean formulas that are good for the people who use them and good for the environment"; she envisioned being able to ship direct to consumers and retailers while maintaining high vitality products, which are all raw or cold-processed so no heat is ever applied to raw materials or in manufacturing.
Purity: products are certified organic to food-grade standards, "they are so pure you could literally eat them."
Potency: products are cold-formulated to keep the vital organic ingredients nutrient-rich and 100% beneficial and ACTIVE. Organic aloe vera is used as the base, not water as most companies do.
Freshness: new batches of products are made and packaged every 30 days -- includes all products that have a 'use by' date.
**This is unheard of in the industry. Narelle said government people who visit the factory,
like occupational safety and health and certifying bodies, "never cease to be amazed how we make things
every 30 days and rotate through to make products." Most companies make months or even years worth
in advance! Talk about freshness!
Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) is what keeps the aloe leaf/fillet 'juicy' in nature, and therefore keeps the skin soft, plump and pliable. It contains a lot of antioxidants, helps with skin cell regeneration and repair. The more aloe in a product, the more skin cell regeneration, based on studies done for ONE Group. You can see these charts in some prior PowerPoint presentations in the Members' Area.
Vitality of certified organic ingredients -- Narelle said it's about WHAT YOU GET and WHAT YOU DON'T GET, in the Miessence range. You get plants grown in harmony with nature, 'happy plants' and you don't get plants grown with synthetic chemicals like pesticides and herbicides.
Revolutionary Bio-Active Cold Processing -- this is unique, no heat at all is ever used for ingredients or final products - this protects the potency and activity of organic raw materials. They can feed the skin, hair and body and deliver nutrients to the skin. The products work with a food-based emulsification system and are made at room temperature, with a cool room to hold raw materials prior to making each batch.
To compare, a 'professional range' in skin care usually has about 25% active ingredients while consumer mainstream brands have about 5% active ingredients. Miessence has 100% active beneficial ingredients.
Protective Packaging -- many products have switched to the vacuum seal, non-leaching polypropylene, which is non-toxic, made from clean materials (food-based), does not leach, is 100% recyclable, has no BPA (bisphenol-A), no phthalates nor PVC plasticizers. With the vacuum seal, the product does not have exposure to dust or air until the person uses it and pumps it out! The goals for packaging include moving to compostable and biodegradable materials as they become available and are able to be used for the different types of products. Other interesting facts: the water that is used in some of the products is extremely pure and beneficial - the water goes through a seven-step filtration process including reverse osmosis and UV treatments. Water is recycled as much as possible in the manufacturing and office facilities. The company has been carbon-neutral since 2006. Details on these initiatives may be found in the newspaper. Organic ingredients are sourced where they are grown and processes are put in place to support those farmers or gatherers of raw materials -- examples include frankinsence from Somalia and shea butter from West Africa. Fair trade policies and initiatives that go beyond Fair Trade are helping locals improve their business and income as part of the bigger picture.
