A. News from ONE Group
At the ONE Group 2nd Annual Conference in June, the company launched six NEW products as well as new programs and tools for all of us to grow our businesses!!
 
You should have received several e-mails with updates.  If not, please contact your sponsor.
 
Check out the NEW products information sheets in bold, beautiful colors.  In PDFs in your back office under Marketing Materials.
 
Check out the NEW MiSpa Party System first draft and additional materials in the back office under Training.  This plan begins NOW and the former program is phased out as of July 15th.  We now can offer 2 levels of gifts for hosts and have many more tools to use in promoting Miessence pampering parties. 
 
In addition, a choice of special GUEST PACKS will be available at discounted rates for attendees. Your MiSpa Party customers are entered into the system as MiSpa Party Customers.  Should they want to become PC's later, you can meet with them to explain that program. The MiSpa party plan provides for greater customer care and the chance for everyone at a party to host and receive free products based on sales.  As the sponsor, you receive 30% bonuses on all orders placed at a party and future orders placed by your MiSpa Party customers (unless they become regular PCs).
 
Gifts for Hosts:
Level ONE:  Just for hosting, a host/hostess receives 10% of sales to spend how they please on ONE Group products. A minimum of $150 in sales is necessary.
 
Level TWO:  Whenever orders reach $700 or more (from both attendees and outside orders your host has secured) and you and/or your host reserve two future parties from attendees or outside bookings, the host gets their choice of:
-- one of the Hosting Packs, worth from $85 to $110, absolutely free!! 
-- OR, 10% of total sales to use how they please.
Also, if the host chooses a Hosting Pack, they will still earn 10% of sales, for any sales above $700 (with 2 future bookings)!
 
What HUGE incentives for hosts to have successful parties and for guests to want to host their own!!!  The new postcards, order forms, pack info and more are available to help you market these great avenues for building your business.

Please take some time to carefully read the initial materials in Member's Area, under Training.  All orders for MiSpa Parties must be submitted 'off-line' until the online function is in place. The company is looking into creating forms to be 'write-in' pdfs or you may fax the order to the North American fax number.  You may want to get the pad of 50 order forms to help you keep track of each person's orders at each party. 
 
Starting August 6th, we will be able to order all 6 products as a 'pack' for a limited time -- This pack will include the Berry Radical Anti-oxidant, and several new tools to use, including the MiSales Training, DVDs and CDs from the Conference and more.  If you get the full pack, you get these tools at a greatly subsidized rate.  New Products also expected to be available individually after August 6th. 
 
B.  Updated ONE Group Website ~ UPDATES!
On a recent conference call, David Hobley, IT Manager at ONE Group, announced that his team is actively working to add new features to the site. We are expecting a 2nd payment gateway that will process credit cards from the U.S., Canada, and the UK so that the charges are not going to pass through the Australian dollar.
 
This change will benefit everyone ordering from these countries, so they (we) are not charged any international transaction fees nor foreign conversion fees.  The company is testing this feature and will announce its availability as soon as it's ready!
 
David also confirmed they will be "re-linking" our respective Mienterprize sites to the main sites.  These sites are also located at: www.mienterprize.com/?username.
 
They are also testing the "website administration" function (where we can go in and customize our sites) and hope to have that up-and-running within a few weeks.
 
C.  Organic Ingredients, Oil, Freight and the Cost of Doing Business.
Update:  following up from last month, we learned that the shipping for Preferred Customer orders under $100 has increased to $7.95.  Any online Customer order over $100 is sent free of any shipping charges.  Representatives receive free shipping for all orders of 50 PV or more, when they have checked off Business Protection or Autoship and have their Credit Card Authorization form on file.  This applies whether you go in and order manually each month or have your BP processed. 
 
Autoship orders are always processed regardless of your ordering for that month.  (I recommend BP if you are ordering different items each month, so you may log-in and order by the 23rd of each month; then, your BP doesn't get processed.)

How to Achieve Your Dreams  ~
This month: 
Ideas for MiSpa Parties

Easy Alternative to the MiSpa Party Plan: 
Organic Workshops and Do-It-Yourself Facials
 
Many of you have concerns about doing 'hands-on' facials at MiSpa parties, as described in the MiSpa materials.  Well, it does state you can be creative and do these differently.  I would like to offer a way to do these that will not infringe on legality issues due to State and/or Provincial regulations.  
 
Important Note:  ONE Group is planning to offer liability insurance options that would be valid worldwide, if you decide to pursue the MiSpa parties with hands-on demonstrations and pampering of hosts.  In the meantime, you can use the following ideas to pursue this lovely and exciting new strategy.  
 
I would like to thank Executive Cheryl Rounds and Managers Candy Loya and Lynn Turner, for all of their help with developing and teaching me this strategy. 
 
Keep in mind:
Educate.  Inform.  Experience.  Inspire.
You'll want to create a relaxed, fun environment where you can help educate your attendees and host, while keeping it interactive and positive, so people feel comfortable to ask questions and be open to learning.
For example, you can use an interactive method to get people to start thinking about what products they use, specific synthetic chemicals or alcohols, why organic and certified organic are so important, environmental and health impacts of what we use in personal care, nutritional needs, etc.  Here are some ideas:
Ideas to Make it Fun yet Informative:
Bingo Game (from Angie Conrad, Canada) - Can use both positive words like organic, natural, certified organic, as well as names of synthetic chemicals or works like 'greenwashing' and then read aloud definitions that people match to the word. Going through the winner's card gives a chance to explore these further and get feedback from attendees. 

10 True or False Statements (from Lynn Turner, USA) - Develop a one-pager of 10 questions and have attendees 'test' their knowledge then review these with some additional information in your answers. Allow for discussion or comments and further questions.

Ask guests to bring a personal care product they use and the one who has the most chemicals on the Top 10 (or Top 20 list) wins a sachet of samples
 (from Angie Conrad, Amber Lavoie, Rebekah McDonald, Canada)  p.s. You'll need to create a top 10/20 list!

Multiple Choice Quiz ~ similar to T/F but multiple choice questions
We have found it's very important to highlight the UNIQUE QUALITIES of the ONE Group range and the company itself, including our carbon-neutral status and mission/goals of the company.  A great resource for this is the first part of the Miessence Product Powerpoint, the first part of the Catalog and the summary of Narelle's call in the Helpful Hints series.  Feel free to use the Powerpoint as a Powerpoint -- another way to begin your party.
 
 
You'll want to provide everyone with a 'place setting' to do their facial. Here are some supplies you'll want to have for each person: 
* Large plastic or ceramic bowl (easy to find at the 'dollar store' type places)
* Small glass or ceramic bowl for mixing mask ('dollar store' type place)
Mirrors
* Washclothes (2 per person) 
* Small plate or disposable mini-cupcake holders (to put product for each person)
* Tableclothes
 
In addition, you'll want to have cotton swabs, cotton balls, tissues, paper towels, cosmetic sponges, one or two (or 4) mask brushes and cloth or other headbands for anyone who would like to put back their hair (esp. for the mask!). 
We generally do an educational introduction (either a short 10 minute version or longer one with ideas from above), then have everyone get to the Facial.  Have everyone sit around the table(s).  Allow for some space or an extra table to display products.
 
You'll want to explain you'll be going through with them the 'once-a-week' version not the every day routine.  Let them know the every day routine is very simple (i.e. Cleanse, Condition and Moisturize;  plus any serums or gels or the pro-biotic skin brightener as desired).  
 
The steps we have used for the once a week facial are: Cleansers, Exfoliants, Masks, (now the Brightener), Skin Conditioners, Gels, Moisturizers and Serums.  
 
During the time we have everyone's attention -- i.e. the MASK -- we bring up nutrition and go through the main points about pro-biotics and what makes the In-Liven and Fast-Tract so unique and therefore effective, how they are different from store-bought brands and some stories of success (photo of the girl who had ezcema helps too!).  Either during or after the mask, we offer In-Liven or Fast-Tract tasting, making sure to bring some organic juice and pure water, paper cups and plastic spoons to prepare it.
 
After the skin care portion, you may want to offer participants the chance to pamper themselves with the organic make-up.  Go through each part of the make-up range and give your personal or customer testimonials about the cosmetics.  Use cosmetic sponges, flat cotton rounds or cotton balls, cotton swabs, etc. to go through each step, explaining how to apply.  Be sure to provide guidance on color choice.  Matching to previous colors is helpful.
Confirming Interest and Orders:
You'll want to have an order form or sheet with blank spaces so attendees can write down or check off which products they enjoy using.  ONE Group has now created these forms with the MiSpa party though feel free to create your own.  You'll want to offer the special packs to attendees, so familiarize yourself with these options.  Find out who wants to host a party and receive free products.  Make sure to get everyone's contact details for following up (a sign-up sheet in Word is perfect for this).
 
It's nice for people to leave with a Newspaper, MiStory & New product info sheet and, for anyone interested in In-Liven or Fast-Tract, a copy of the CD so they can learn more. If you would like a sample 'MiStory & new product info sheet, I can send that via e-mail.
