Dangerous Beauty by Peter Dingle, Ph.D and Toni Brown, BA and health professional.  Originally published in 1999, ONE Group offers a pamphlet-sized edition with a short intro. by our very own Narelle Chenery!

The Chemical Maze by Bill Statham.  This book is a guide to food additives and cosmetic ingredients.  Its square and compact design allows for easy transport.  It contains a listing of ingredients, including synthetic chemicals, typical products they are used in and a description and note as to whether harmful, possibly harmful, unknown or safe.

Happy New Year!  You will soon be able to read all issues of OrganicPro Team News via one of my websites.  While some information is date-sensitive, a lot of the articles are 'timeless' training and helpful ideas for you and you'll be able to direct all new representatives there as well.  I hope to announce the URL in next month's edition.   
 
In the orange sidebar, you will see our new members and promotions.  Congratulations to all of you!  It is through persistent planning and action we will all be able to reach our goals.  If you don't know where you are going or what your goals are, how will you get there? 
 
To learn more about this, read the prior issues of OrganicPro News and see below for a simple formula for achieving everything you want in your business and in life. This new forum is dedicated to providing resources, ideas and motivation to help get where you want to go with your business.  Please read the Editor's Note about going from 'good' to 'great' and send me your feedback for next month's edition (published again by popular demand)!! 
 
Getting Started:
As a sponsor, you are probably asked by your new representatives how they can get going when first joining the business.  While I have a full 5 weeks of Helpful Hints e-mails for just this purpose, I want to hear from YOU.  Please send one action or item you recommend a new representative do during their first month.  I'll compile the list for next month's OrganicPro News.  (I will use your name if you provide permission; otherwise, I will make it anonymous.)
 
Announcements
A.  Time to check-in with your sponsored Representatives.  ONE Group has started Annual Renewals for all representatives, in accordance with our membership agreement.  For just $30 USD / $35 Canadian, you can continue to receive all the benefits of your ONE Group membership and build a business with unlimited income potential.  A notice to renew will show up when a representative logs in, starting about 1 month before their anniversary date.  They will have the option to pay with a credit card or with their bonus funds.  (The message will stay for one month after the renewal date, but the rep. will have to renew at that point in order to proceed to their back-office and continue to receive bonuses, etc.)
 
Please be sure to re-connect with all your sponsored Representatives to check in and explain the renewal so they make sure to do so before their membership expires.  This is a great chance to also find out where they are at and how you can assist them in planning and strategizing to build their business per their goals.  If you need assistance with this, please first ask your sponsor.  Ask to make sure they are receiving these important monthly e-mails!
 
B.  The Housekeeping NewslettersUpdate!  It is now called the MiBusiness Update.  Did you receive the latest one on January 14th?  If not, please contact sharne@onegrp.com to find out whether your e-mail is on the list.  All newsletters are also posted in Member's Area, under the Marketing Tools tab.  
 
Special announcements this month include a new system for out-of-stock inventory and a new format for the Events and Public Noticeboard, both under the Resources tab on your ONE Group site (visible to anyone; not in member's area).  The listings will now be in the same format as Member News with RSS feed availability.  This will eliminate the problems that some users had with not being able to see the Events.  The Noticeboard will contain articles of interest about organics that we can also share with our customers.  We are excited to see these important changes and hope you will take advantage of them.
  
C.  NEW FORMAT- ONE Group Overview Conference Call
ONE Group Company Overview Conference Call will be for all Representatives to attend with their new or potential members.

How to Achieve Your Dreams (for 2007 and beyond) ~ The Secret
 
 
A few months ago, while exhibiting with our local team at an expo, we were invited to a holistic healer's home about an hour from us, to watch The Secret.  We were intrigued.  We wanted to know what the secret is...  Though a bit 'Hollywood dramatic', the pseudo-documentary/interview format film contains some vital information and clear, simple instructions for anyone to achieve anything in life.  I couldn't resist sharing this with all of you...

It's all about the Law of Attraction.  When we think and do what makes us feel good, i.e. things that bring us joy, love, happiness, laughter, we will attract more and more of those things into our lives. 
 
Focus is on what you want, not what you don't want.  The example given was of 'pro-peace' movements (as opposed to anti-war, since that will bring more war).  You need to use the vocabulary of the positive outcomes and experiences you want.
 
"You become what you think about most, and you attract what you think about most."  In it's simplest form it is:
                                      "Thoughts Become Things"

Your thoughts may take some time to manifest and often that's good.  How long will it take?  There is no rule; it depends on how well you are aligned with the universe.
Your feelings tell you if you are in alignment with the universe, i.e. good feelings mean you are in alignment.

There is a three-step process to apply the law of attraction:

1. Ask:  Ask the universe for what you want.  This could be in words, in thoughts, in writing, in pictures.  Think of the universe as a catalog and you choose what you want to receive. 

2. Truly feel and believe it is already here and that you already have it.  "Feel it" 
The Answer: The universe will do this for you.  You don't need to know how it will happen.  The "how" is the domain of the universe.

3. Receive:  Bring yourself into alignment with what you are asking for so that you are prepared to receive it.  When the "intuitive nudge" comes back from the universe, act on it!

A hugely powerful tool is Visualization.  When visualizing (picturing what you want), always and only focus on the end result and the feelings of being there already.  To make this work it is important to habituate the process, i.e. do it every day.  A "vision board" (a collage or montage picture of the things you want) may be helpful in doing your visualization.  Ignore what you don't want.  Give full attention to what you do want.  Take 5 minutes a day to visualize.

It is important to feel grateful for what you already have. Make a list.  This will help you attract more.  If you are unhappy because of what you don't have, you will attract more unhappiness.  The gem of wisdom here is called having an "attitude of gratitude."

Be happy with yourself, give to yourself, love yourself.  The universe can't love you until you love yourself.  Become intentional and recognize the beautiful things around you. 

We are all connected.  Everything in the universe is energy (think photons and electrons).  We are all energy fields within a larger energy field.

Orient yourself to the positive aspects of those around you.  Don't try to change the negative aspects of others so you can be happy.  Give up trying to control others.  Find your own happy reality.  Others do not have to be like you.  It's best if you choose your world, and allow others to choose theirs. 
 
A common lie in our society is that "there's not enough good to go around."  The truth is that "there's more than enough good to go around.  Think abundance.  

There is no blackboard in the sky where your purpose and mission in life are written out.  It is not your task to find such a blackboard.  Your purpose is what you say it is!  (Are you clear about yours?)  Follow your passion, joy and bliss and you will attract more happiness.  Do what makes you happy and you will 'grow' more happiness.

Most of your time will be spent collecting data to help you decide what you really want.  Then your work is to focus upon that.  Break free of cultural codes.  Find something that feels good and that resonates with your heart.
                         The rest of your life starts here...

Your challenge is now to internalize what was said in the movie (or in these notes if you didn't see the movie).  I recommend using these principles to magnetize all the abundance that is out there.  I encourage you to work on this, and to help and support each other.

Editor's Comments:

Building on Your Strengths.  Go from Good to GREAT!
A few helpful hints summarized from the CD-version of 100 Ways to Motivate Others:  How Great Leaders Can Produce Insane Results without Driving People Crazy by Steve Chandler, with Scott Richardson. 
 
Make a list of 4-10 things you do well or are pretty good at.  Now, take 3 of these and think of ways you can build on these strengths and get better at them, how you could employ them successfully in your business, in motivating others, in communicating, etc. 
 
The author of this book explained most people make a list of what they're bad at (either written or kept in their head), and focus on improving those skills or attributes.  Then we use 'victim language' such as 'should' -- I should work on my reading skills so I can read faster, even though I prefer listening to books on CD.  I should clean up and get organized.  This language is not the language of a leader.  A leader says 'I want to clean up and get organized' or 'I will clean up every day for 20 minutes each day'.  Leaders make it an action statement not a chore.  Eliminate 'should' from your vocabulary and notice how powerful that is!  
 
So, why focus on what we don't enjoy or don't do well?  When what we need to do is figure out what we are already good at and become GREAT at it!  This makes so much sense.  If you are good at playing piano when you were young, wouldn't your parents or teachers encourage you to become even better?  Why would they switch you to singing if you aren't so good at that?  And say, you need to learn to sing since you already play the piano.  If you are a good public speaker and enjoy doing it, but are not so good at writing, would you say 'oh, I need to learn to write better so I can write a book' or would you say, 'oh, I love speaking and debating and want to do more of that'? 
 
For example, I love to write.  I feel I am good at focusing on my audience and thinking about their needs and desires (that's how I learned to write in high school journalism!)  So, I thought, why not use that skill and enjoyment to start these monthly news bulletins for the entire team?  What a great way to stay in touch, motivate others and learn from each other too!  And if I can get even better at writing and enjoy the process, that's (organic) icing on the cake, yummy : ).
 
Now it's your turn.  Do the exercise above and if you want, share with us your three special or enjoyable skills you will focus on to become GREAT at and that will help you build your business!  (If you are already doing this and building on a strength, we would also like to hear from you.)
